Gorilla Tours and White Water Rafting in Jinja

Uganda is the best place in Africa and the whole world for mountain gorilla trekking safaris because it has two national parks which protects mountain gorillas including the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Bwindi protects almost half of the world’s mountain gorillas – Mgahinga Gorilla National Park protects almost 200 mountain gorillas.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park is done in four sectors of the Park such as Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo where the gorilla trekkers will get equal services in any of the four sectors.

For one to have a gorilla tour in Uganda, you will need to consider the following; you need to buy a gorilla permit in advance and this can be done using the tour companies like the Nature Adventure Africa safari Limited which will purchase the gorilla permit on your behalf.

You are advised to maintain maximum silence whenever you are in the Park, you are recommended not to litter in the Park, you are advised to reach in the Park by 08:00am for the morning gorilla tracking shift.

For the gorilla trekkers in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park will live in the luxurious lodges and exclusive camps such as Buhoma lodge, Clouds lodge, Engagi lodge, Gorilla forest camp, Buhoma community Banda’s, Silver back lodge, Chameleon hill lodge, Buhoma haven lodge and many others and for the trekkers in Mgahinga national park will live in Mountain Gahinga lodge, Kisoro traveler rest hotel, Amajambere Iwacu eco camp, Kisoro tourist hotel and Mucha hotel.

After the challenging activity of gorilla tracking in either Mgahinga national park or Bwindi impenetrable forest national, you can extend your tour to the white water rafting in Jinja on River Nile.

Here you will wear the life jackets and water proof huts on your head for the activity and will later sit in a boat for the white water rafting on the waters of the Owen Falls dam which is on River Nile and this is one of the most enjoyful activities on River Nile.

You will even have chances of taking photos such that you show to your friends and relatives on how you enjoyed your time in Jinja and Uganda as well.

The white water rafting looks to be a scaring activity to involve in though there are always guides who will guide you and give you the braveness to do the activity and finally at the end of the day you will find it interesting.
