In the middle of rich acacia woodlands also lies Lake Mburo National Park which is different from other parks by housing gigantic elands, impalas, zebras and acacia associated birds. Common mammals here include Oribi, Defassa, Reed bucks, Water bucks, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Leopards, Hyenas, Eland antelopes as well as Lions. A cruise on this lake exposes you to the hippos and crocodiles hosted in this park as well as the bird species. Secretive papyrus specialists also spotted in the fringing swamps such as sitatunga antelopes, red, black and yellow papyrus gonaleks.
